Gold Country Match Club Meeting

All Board members present, Robert Deme, Dennis Racine, Cindi Racine, Darren Chan, Denise Chan, Scott Telles
Meeting called to order at 12:14 by Robert.
Treasurer Report by Denise balance disclosed. Dennis moves to accept the, Peggy seconds.
Matchmaker report, 59.5 wins to 48.5 losses with 36 current members. Dennis asks to check the schedule as there have been some changes. Discussed Dublin event, voted yes for a overnight if we can get it scheduled with the two clubs down there. Dennis asks members if you have any questions or problems with scheduling or being scheduled for a match to please direct those questions directly to him and not the board. Please set your status one way or the other. This is very important. Dennis uses this as well as how often you travel when setting up the line-ups for events.
Terrie moves to accept the Matchmaker report, John seconds.
Cindi reads minutes from previous meeting (Jan 25). John moves to accept, Terrie seconds.
Board member ballets are handed out and counted. Matchmaker will continue to be Dennis Racine, Sgt. at Arms will continue to be Scott Telles, and Janice Brown was voted in as the new Secretary.
New/Old Business: Talked about Food/snacks again. The club provides snacks such as crackers, cookies, chips etc. Vicki suggest a 'Hostess' to handle the food and supplies.
The club voted to bring on a new board position called " Hospitality Coordinator ". The club then voted in Tammy into this position. (We've updated the by-laws to include this new board position, and their duties) Link: https://goldcountrymatchclub.com/Match_Club_By-Laws.cfm
No-Tap Memorial Tournament. Was stated this will be named "Gold Country Memorial No-Tap Tournament" to honor all of our fellow bowlers and friends that have past. Delano Williams and Danny Brock currently. Denise asked for everyone to try and come up with a donation for the events raffles. If everyone can up with at least one thing it would help a ton. We'll work on getting another bowling ball to raffle, Robert volunteered to do a 50/50 raffle.
Mike McManis proposed to move the club pizza meetings to a later time in the day. Was put to a vote. Majority wants to keep it as it is, so no change.
